Day Might Same

Day Might Same is Mark Forscher. The Brooklynite navigates through remote textures and extrinsic sounds like they're his backyard. On his self-titled debut album, DMS mixes his own live instrumentation and meticulously constructed drum patterns with layers of distressed samples by means of processing software he created. The result is equal parts warm and wishful, weighted by the foreboding consciousness of play.

"i feel like i'm pretty good with the english language. i sometimes totally suck at talking about music -- the first and last time i wrote about music was about tchaikovsky's romeo and juliet. but i love this. a lot." lee sargent of clap your hands say yeah
